I read the book hoping to learn more about the culture of the aboriginal people following a trip to Australia. About two thirds through the story started to delve into a "new age type" story line, with parts that varied very much from what little I had learned from actual aboriginal people while visiting Central Australia. After searching the net a bit, I found that this author has been making some seriously odd claims in her books regarding her "journey" with a unknown tribe. From what I read online, she's been debunked as a phony. More can be read on this at marlomorgan.wordpress.com. I will keep searching for a better book on their culture.
