The predictable, repetitive text makes this series of books great for your beginning reader. Froggy always has one embarrassing moment which in this book is when he accidentally kicks the doctor as a reflex. Another highlight is when he sees a girl from school named Frogalina in the waiting room. She seems to like him a little too much! The sound effects allow children to practice phonics in a fun way -- flop, flap. What fun to read with your 5-9 year-old taking the lead.
