After crossing the Atlantic Ocean and miraculously surviving a the infamous 1938 hurricane, "Lofty" and "Patches" were driven across the United States to avoid the stress of transport by train. This novel is the fictional tale of their cross country road trip and the adventures they encounter along the way.
