A superbly-written biography of the NYC Mayor (1977-89), which essentially picks up where Vincent Cannato's equally well-written biogrpahy of NYC Mayor John Lindsay (1965-73) "The Ungovernable City" leaves off. It is fast moving, insightful and well-researched.
