This is the first book I have read written by Sigmund Brouwer... It is very captivating... you are taken back in time 2000 plus years ago to Jerusalem. You will come to know our Lord Jesus in a different way. Excellant novel with a litte bit of fictional history.
From the inside flap cover...
"The Weeping Chamber" transports us into the heart of ancient Jerusalem during the turbulent last days of Christ. One man is on a desperate journey in search of personal redemption. The other man's jounrney will provide redemption for all.
Meet both men as their lives intersect during the week of the greatest drama in history. Through their eyes see Caiaphas, Herod, Pilate, and Judas--and understand the all-too-human motivations that we share with them. Meet the disciples, Mary, and Martha and others whose lives were forever changed by the Messiah.
