I am so torn about this book. It is a sequeal to a really bad book by LJ Smith. Damon appears to be the hero in this one. For those of you looking for a jucier relationship between Damon and Elena, this book will help pass the time till the TV show catches up. That is if you can bear the bad writing. I love the ideas in this story, but I found myself skipping over pages. Bad writing all over, a little good, then more bad.

Damon is so that bad boy Elena doesn't want to admit she loves. Their relationship is as secret as it is obvious and tragic to their friends. At the end of the day it is still about Stefan. NAG, NAG, NAG.
