Get ready to take a journey with Dina and Bernard in their restored 1940 Cadillac: starting in Beijing, China. Their travels in the Peking to Paris motor race is adventurous, taking them from China, through the Gobi desert, then Siberia, the Baltic States, and finally to Paris, France.

Their 1940 Cadillac, which given the name of Roxanne, is somewhat trusty car. However, Roxanne endures a long ride of rough terrain, long days, and a questionable finish in the race.

Hundreds of other couples race in their restored vehicles, young and old. The book tells of triumphs and disappointments during the adventurous ride. Breakdowns, repairs, visiting unknown sights, tales of racing couples, many who become friends during P2P motor race.

A great read of adventure, exploring many countries, various terrains and people.
