The poetry in this book didn't grab me. It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't spectacular either. I find most poetry enamored of itself, and this didn't make the bar to bring me in.
However, I really like the artwork. I am not sure if they are actually watercolors or just look like them, but the artist did a really nice job on the landscapes. I wouldn't mind a book of the watercolors--I wish the artist was named somewhere.
(added later: I emailed them asking about the artist. I was informed that the artwork is done by a group of staff artists so they don't keep track of which does which. The poems are submitted by free lancers, so they get credit. Too bad, I think the art is better than the poetry!)
