The novel starts out well, but then digresses alot. It brings in all the characters that have each received a piece of Christmas Glass (an ornament). It is only sort of wrapped up in the end, but for me it needed at least one more chapter as I felt like story lines were still hanging. I didn't see that the characters changed much and I was irritated at them through most of the story. This is supposed to be a story of forgiveness, but it is barely there.
