Following the suggestion of Dominick Dunne, Mark Fuhrman, the former LAPD homicide detective who is also known for his role in O.J. Simpson's trial, investigates the role of relatives of the powerful Kennedy family in the murder of fifteen year old Martha Moxley on the night of October 30, 1975. This account was written published in 1998, approximately five years before charges were filed.
