the owner/chef of a chic show biz eatery was the stiff-of-the day-his ex-actor partner missing and presumed guilty. But Charles smelled something rotten in this case of the gourmet whose goose had been cooked. and when it came to sniffing out a killer, armchair sleuth Charles Paris had the right ingredients to be the season's star performer.
