On paper, movie reviewer Violet Epps is a savvy, sassy critic, but in real life, she's a doormat. That is, until she more-or-less accidentally becomes hostess to the late Dorothy Parker, that outspoken, outragous, cynical voice of the 1920s New York literary subset known as The Algonquin Circle. If you think this is going to be great fun, you're absolutely right.
