Heather Martin travels to San Francisco to fulfill her dream of becoming an illustrator. Instead, she ends up taking a job as a governess to two motherless children who father is estranged from them. Soon the children are smiling again and she is driving Brandon Montgomery crazy...because he is actually the person who needs Heather the most.
This book reminded me of "The Sound of Music". The governess teaches the children to be carefree and convinces the strict father to let them have fun. He is initially skeptical and believes everything his spoiled finacee tells him. This was a pleasant read, but there was nothing new with the plot or characters.
