This is the 3rd book in Elliotts series from Silhouette Desire. Storyline is that the "good twin",Summer, decides to live a little of her "wild" twin, sister's life. Summer realizes the fastest way to move up in the Elliott publishing company is to land the interview of the year with Zeke Woodlow. After a couple of attempts, Summer meets Zeke. Zeke can't believe he is meeting a woman who looks like his latest muse. They instantly click and spend a large portion of the night together. Two small problems. One is that Summer was a virgin prior to the meeting. Second one is that Summer has a fiance. As was foreshadowed in the previous installment, Taking Care Of Business, Summer is not happy. She uses the fact that she cheated to break-up with John. Don't feel too bad for John, I think he'll have a starring role in the next book. Zeke has decided that he wants to spend more time with Summer and unlock the song in his head. He developes feelings for Summer. While self discovering, she realizes she also has feelings and jumps on a plane to ask for another chance. As with the previous Elliotts books, there is some prodding and prompting from other family members.
This is yet another book on Elliott members breaking out of the tight family structure. One of the questions asked in all three books is why Patrick would cause the family to be pitted aganist each other. I wonder if the reason is that Patrick sees that his family is not following their hearts and just doing what they think will please Patrick.
We were given more time with Patrick and Maeve. I really liked seeing Maeve hold her own with Patrick. And that Zeke also could. It seems as if Patrick likes males who do stand up to him even though he may not let on right away.
I thought some of the sentences were a little wordy. Such as on page 87 in the second paragraph. And again on page 88 in the first paragraph.
One aspect that shocked me was that Summer performs fellatio on Zeke. A virgin knows how to do this and apparently well. That was a little hard to accept.
I wanted to see Summer having dinner with Zeke's parents. They sounded so interesting. First, how do they deal with their son the rock star? And they seem to guide so much of Zeke's life.
