I can't believe this author isn't on the bestsellers list. I loved all her books - equally. She's brilliant. This one, after such a long hiatus, also did not disappoint. I love that the premise in this book seems perfectly logical, and rational. It's science fiction, but it's the kind that is believable, that kind that makes me think humans could one day go through something similar. I also like how the book shows what the medical industry is capable of, and also what human beings are capable of in response to such a government.

I really can't say anything bad about this book. She's a brilliant author who has sound ideas. This book isn't "junk food" science fiction. It's thought provoking, intellectual, and philosophical ... while still delivering a fantastic plot line. It doesn't get any better than that in my book!
