Others have done a great job detailing the plot. For me, it wasn't a bad book, but it wasn't as good as it should have been. Given the background on Jonas we've been given throughout various books in the series, there should have been more of his dominance, mind games, manipulations, and yes, even sexual mastery. As for Rachel, her characterization is pretty flat, which is unfortunate, but the chemistry between her and Jonas is intense. Beyond that, there were a plethora of editing mistakes, and the continuity left something to be desired, both in terms of scenes in this book, and how events from previous books mesh with what was revealed in this one.
So, as I said, it's far from being a bad book, but given that this was Jonas' book, I think that he, and the fans of him and the series, deserved more.
