Writing style is one I'm tired of--the back and forth of timelines, it adds nothing to the story

I stuck with it as long as I could (50-100 pages is my limit) got to about 200 pages and just skimmed the rest, so tedious and boring and everything repeated over and over

I guess it's really a whodunit but I didn't really care, so borrrring!
