Simple love story, I think, as I'm reading first chapter. Not so! This is a thriller you don't want to miss. Complex enough to have me suspecting several different people but never the real culprit.
Finn and Layla are young lovers who are returning from vacation when Layla disappears. It's never determined if she's aline or dead. She's gone 12 years when Finn starts receiving emails from someone who knows things only she could know. Meanwhile, he has fallen for her sister, Ellen, and they move in together, eventually announcing their wedding. That's when the emails start. No spoilers here, but do read to the very end.
Suspenseful, intriguing. This is first of B. A. Paris' novels that I read. I'll surely read more!
