Lucy Rothschild is a mystery author and she is currently working on her newest title. Lucy is meeting men on-line and meeting them in coffee houses; she is doing research for her new book. In her book, men are being murdered by a woman who stalks her victims on-line and lures them in to meet in person.
Lucy's fourth and LAST on-line date is a man with the screen name "hardluvnman" and she's hoping he will cause great inspiration for her fourth victim character. But Lucy doesn't know what kind of inspiration she is in for.
Hardluvnman is, in reality, Quinn McIntyre who has been working as a cop for years, specializing in undercover work. There is a serial killer suffocating men and Quinn is determined to uncover the killer.
What ensues is a great romp as Lucy and Quinn work with and against each other. I never would have guessed who the real serial killer was and I was extremely shocked when I found out. It was a wonderful read and the first in a series. I can't wait to read the other books in this series.
