This is a simple book, but a great one! The authored interviewed older relatives about how life was back then.

This book contains poems, recipes, a Farmer's Calendar, dates and festivals, and quotes from her relatives - all divided up by month, like a Farmer's Almanac.

It is a quick read, but a fun one. The pages and the layout are very decorative yet simple.

I thoroughly enjoyed it and even copied the recipe for Snow Ice Cream.
