I don't know what it was about Raylene Pendle that I disliked but something really irked me. I thoroughly enjoyed the story. Covert government agency kidnapping and experimenting on vampires. Art and jewel thief, Raylene Pendle asked to steal secret documents to help vampire Ian Stott regain the vision they stole from him. Enter a power-hungry scientist (bad guy), a drag queen and a ghoul (good guys) and man what's not to love! I just didn't like Raylene and just wasn't feeling the romance between Ian and Raylene. I haven't decided yet if I'm going to continue the series. I would like to see the power-hungry scientist ripped to pieces by Ian or the drag queen and I would like some closure for Adrian (said drag queen). So I'll add it to my TBR and hope for the best.
