The only reason I even gave it 3 stars was because I did think the author had a good imagination to come up with the plot line and the character of Taylor.
Its nice to see strong willed women with talent that can sometimes do things better than boys, lol...especially in this type of setting.
What I did not enjoy were the pages and pages of unnessesary plotlines. As others have relayed the book is about a group of private contracted "cia type" operatives battling terrorism. Its hard to explain everything about the groups of badguys in this book without the review being super long, but basically by the end I felt that so much of the book was taken up by unnessesary plot twists and turns and not on developing the relationship between Hunt and Taylor. **spoiler** before they went in to battle he tells her he doesn't want to want her and suddenly after she gets hurt he wants to marry her.**
Bottom line was that this book felt more like a thriller action type book where two of the characters occasionally had sex and "fell in love" at the end, which wasn't what I was looking for. I expected more of a romantic suspense book. I will also add that this was the first of Ms. Adairs books and maybe I picked a dud.(although I did check reviews first :) )
