I can't say what makes this good except all the Sookie books are wonderful except the last one she wrote and I'm very disappointed about that one. I've loved them all. When the last one came out I was so happy I bought the hard copy and paid nearly full price for it. Now, you know we don't do that but i did and I really lost my money on it. She wrote it as if she was forced to write another one of "those books". It wasn't edited, I don't think anyone at her publisher ever read it. It looks like the copy before it is shaped up.

However, Dead Until Dark is as good as all the rest. I loved it. I am a big fan of Sookie and am distraught when the last program ran. I think they should work year round and not just 13 weeks. Now I know they work really hard, all of them and they need the rest but I miss them.

I actuallly bought this to replace the one that I lost. I can't find it anywhere so i had to have another one to fill out my collection. The book hooks you, the TV show is different but wonderful. I read the books, all of them first and then watched the shows. Loved it.
