The only story I read in this book was Night's Darkest Embrace by Jeaniene Frost.

As a teenager, Partial Demons Mara and her cousin, Gloria, find an opening into the demon realm of Nocturna. While in Nocturna they are met by Purebloods who kill Gloria. Mara is nearly killed when she is rescued by Raphael, the leader of Nocturna. He sends Mara home, telling her not to cross into Nocturna until he is an adult. Now twenty years old, Mara is back in Nocturna, seeking revenge against the Purebloods who killed her cousin.

This was an interesting story with lots of action and mystery. It didn't hook me like Frost's Night Huntress books, but it was an enjoyable read. My rating: 3.5 Stars.
