I've not read Cherry's T-FLAC series before, and I know now that I've been missing out on something great. I love romantic suspense, and Ice Cold is one of the best I've read this year. Rafael is a black ops operative and he knows there is no room in his life for a meaningful relationship. He lives for his job and he wouldn't want to get a woman involved with the danger that surrounds him everyday.

Honey is a computer hacker and she's very good at her job. She's a fellow operative and specializes in cyber-crimes. She loves her job, too and prefers the virtual world of computers than people. But when Rafael needs her help, she's forced to work closely with the magnetizing man. The sparks just light up the pages when these two get close to one another and the action is non-stop. I really enjoyed the balance that Adair used between the romance and the suspense - I wasn't overloaded with the relationship or the operation and they worked perfectly together. I'll definitely have to go back and read the rest of the series, but ICE COLD definitely can be read as a standalone. The only thing is, be prepared to set aside a few hours, you won't be able to put this one down!
