Book Review of How to Live In a Car, Van, or RV: And Get Out of Debt, Travel, and Find True Freedom

How to Live In a Car, Van, or RV: And Get Out of Debt, Travel, and Find True Freedom
reviewed on

This book is badly edited, badly written, cheaply bound and makes poor economic assumptions, such as that the vehicle in which you will live is paid off, and makes no allowances for saving up for a replacement vehicle, which you will need sooner than if the vehicle was used as intended. As a minimum the load that you will carry in the vehicle will wear out the suspension in your vehicle faster, particularly if you live in a car or minivan. Vandwelling also relies heavily on free or cheap parking or camping places that do not offer services or provide a place to dump your waste.
