Another typical Patterson (plus collaborating author) book in the Private detective agency around the world, this time set in Sydney, Australia. Thinly plotted with extremely short chapters, the story is exciting and suitably violent with gory descriptions of psychotic murders. There are many descriptions of Sydney landmarks, streets and highways to add to the "authenticity" of the tale. A very sophomoric effort covering poor writing and lack of character development. I only read it because my husband just ran the Sydney Marathon in September and I wanted to feel like I was there, too!
