I read this book with great interest and found it to be very accurate in the author's portrayal of the behavior and attitudes of those predators who are "grooming" families for the eventual seduction of their child. This happened in my family and I was shocked to read how commonly it happens in others. Parents with children of all ages should read this and memorize parts of it. It's very sad to be a secretly molested child and to realize that your parents approve of this person who is molesting you, and happily welcome him into your home.
The writer is extremely well qualified to offer the advice and explanations that she does. She has been studying these criminals for many years. Read this book, but be prepared to learn that anyone at all can be a sexual predator; the nice old man next door, the Boy Scout leader, the guy who baby-sits your boys, or the daddy of your daughter's best friend. It's a shocking eye-opener.
