Goes right along with the previous books. The search for Marguerite is still ongoing, Thomas is on the search and the women Bastien ask to help Thomas turned out to be his life mate and now he is on the search for his aunt and also trying to woo Inez into loving him and also to turn her. But they travel with someone trailing them and erasing Inez's mind and controlling her to the point here he life almost ending.
