This was one of the saddest, most-depressing books I've ever read. It didn't evoke a lot of tears, it was just a non-stop train of bleak hopelessness.
I can't say the ending was very good, and I can't really recommend this book. It was a fast read, and I was captivated by the characters, but I felt icky when I was done all the same.........
