A return to Botswana and a new case for Precious - a client who has amnesia. Meanwhile, employee problems at Mr. J.L.B. Matekoni's garage causes Precious to make some changes at the No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency. AND, Mme Makutsi has entered into a new realm as business owner of the Handsome Man's De Luxe Cafe. True to form for her, she forges ahead and ignores common sense, advice from Mme Ramotswe and her shoes. A gentle, enjoyable read with the author's unique descriptions of the surroundings making this a very good read for those who have enjoyed their visits before and to new readers as well.
