My first Julia Quinn. A little disappointed. Good but not great. I should say better than a lot of others but no Lisa Kleypas. Enjoyable but forgettable. I liked the story premise and the the characters. But felt like a lot off rather superficial fluff. I didn't buy the whole notion that if he is really a duke that the heroine "can't" be with him due to her station.
