Army nurse Helen meets Frank, a doctor, and they have a whirlwind courtship and marriage. When both are sent separately to Europe during World War II, they exchange letters while waiting for the war to end. I thought this book was very good. Though fiction, the story is based on the author's parents, and actual letters and photographs are included.
