The description on the back cover doesn't do justice to the story inside this tome of nearly 1000 pages. It deserves much more that 5 stars, and it's easy to see why it won a Pulitzer Prize. The reading never gets stale, the story always moves along at a good clip, and the ending was a surprise. Tartt could easily write a sequel to this, and I would be willing to read about Theo's life and relationships until he becomes an old, old man...hated to see it end, in spite of it's length. D.
