While the sex is steamy and I particularly liked the first meeting between the main characters, by the time I was halfway through the book, my dislike for Alix was so strong I almost didn't finish it. Having read Katie MacA's books before I did finish, hoping that she would find a way to make me like the heroine, but it didn't happen. She was unbearable selfish and self-centered, as the author knew, since a number a secondary characters told Alix she was. What was left out was how immature she was. I would expect this behavior from a teenager MAYBE. But not a woman old enough to already be divorced once. What a whiney little *itch. I think I'm done with this author.
