I enjoyed this book but not as much as his other books. The plot and characters were very good but the twists Simon Beckett is noted for were missing. I found out too soon who the killer was but the challenges in the other novels which make his books exciting were lacking in this one. The book does leave off with a cliffhanger and I do anticipate the next David Hunter book so have not completely given up on Simon Beckett yet. Keep on writing, Simon, many are waiting!
