A terrific finale to the Three Duke's Trilogy.
Without too much reiteration of the book summary, Charlotte (aka Lottie) lives a double life as a an aristocratic lady and an opera singer. Colin lives a double life as lazy nobleman and a forger and authenticator for the British Crown.
They meet, her cover is blown, they agree to marry in a marriage of convenience and then the real story begins. Two people who think they know each other, slowly revealing layers of themselves and finding love. Along the way a bit of mystery and some steamy love scenes.
The mystery was pretty silly but not much time was wasted on it. The characters and their developing love were engaging and sweet.
