Website Of The Week: Paperbackswap.com

Whittier College Quaker Campus (Website) - 1/27/2011 by Neslie Tumulac
The only thing better than a book is a free book. Launched in 2004, Paperbackswap.com is an online community with over 2 million books swapped across the United States so far. After mailing 35 books and receiving 25, this website has its use, especially when I am lucky enough to find a book I need for class. Whether you are a fan of science fiction or in search for a cookbook, the variety of used books available at Paperbackswap.com is very extensive. All you need to start are some books to trade, and when you post your first 10 books, you receive two free credits—one credit redeemable for any book of your choice. The only price you pay is for each book you mail to those requesting your unwanted novels. Following the success of Paperbackswap.com, two other trading websites were also launched for CDs and DVDs giving you more places to trade your unwanted stuff.
