PAPERBACKSWAP.COM - A GREAT SITE FOR BOOK LOVERS

Lunch.com (Website) - 6/26/2010 by jennyj821
Paperbackswap.com is a great site for people who enjoy trading books. The concept is simple: post your books on the site, then wait for someone to request one of them. When they do, you simply wrap your book and mail it to them. You receive a credit on the site for any book posted - and there's over 4.5 million books. You pay nothing for the books you request - your only expense is the postage you spend mailing books out. And the site even prints the mailing labels!

Most books cost less than $3.00 to mail, including the delivery confirmation receipt - which you can purchase through PaperbackSwap at a substantial discount. This is less than the standard shipping costs at Amazon, B&N, Alibris, Powell's or anywhere else. Their shipping costs all start at $3.49.

One of the features I especially enjoy is their WISH LIST. If a particular book isn't posted on the site, you can add it to your wish list. When that book becomes available, PaperbackSwap sends you an email to let you know the book is available. You have up to 48 hours to accept the book.

Other features of the site include links to online bookstores for books not offered by PaperbackSwap members, the PaperbackSwap Marketplace where you can buy discounted new books, a browse feature and much, much more.

It's a win-win situation for everyone. I seldom go more than a few days without visiting PaperbackSwap.com
