Save A Buck: Paperbacks.com

HeraldNet (Newspaper) - 8/5/2008 by Staff
Return the pages: We've already told you about Peerflix.com, which lets you swap DVDs with others. Here's a club that does the same thing for booklovers: www.paperbackswap.com.

Here's how it works: Register at Paperbackswap.com. Currently there's no charge. After signing up, you'll list 10 titles of books that you want to offer for a swap. When someone wants one of the books you've listed, you'll get an e-mail. Pop your book in the mail, using a label you can print from the Web site. Once you've sent your book to the other member, you'll get a credit for a book that you can request from someone else. You even get two free book credits to start. You can keep any book that's sent to you, or you can add it to your list and send it off again.

How about music or movies? Paperbackswap.com also has links for similar clubs for swapping CDs at swapacd.com and DVDs at swapadvd.com.
