Natural Bridge Elementary in North Miami is a K-5 public elementary Title I School with 95% of the students qualifying for free/reduced price lunch based on income levels.
There are children who go to school here who have no books at home to read. There are children who go to school here who are working hard to become fluent in English. They need our support!
The school's principal and teachers stress the importance of reading constantly - they provide tutoring, they require daily reading for each grade level, and they have awards to encourage students to achieve their reading goals.

There's a young girl who learned English just two years ago, after immigrating from Haiti, and she's read 1.5 million words already this year...she's a voracious reader!
I know how much your donation would be appreciated by her and the rest of the Natural Bridge Bears. A book of their own to keep is something these students will value immensely and helps to affirm the power and importance of books.
