I want to thank all the military personnel who serve our country. As a mother of a son in the guard, I know the emotional cost of having him deployed. I am proud to support this cause and help children of deployed soldiers.

When you make a donation, drop off a box at Goodwill, etc., that's kind of it and you don't really see where that donation ends up or just how it makes a difference to someone. As someone who's been in service and still has family and friends in service, trust me when I say you *are* making a BIG difference to someone out there! Thank you PBS and everyone donating! =)

My husband used this program while deployed in 2009-2010 in Iraq. Our children were 3 and 6 at the time and it was hugely helpful. First, the children enjoyed the stories and I have saved the books and videos for them. Secondly, it was a way for my husband to feel connected to the children and that he could "help out" with them while deployed. I am happy to donate book credits and I hope that others will generously do so as well. Thanks Paperback Swap for particpating in this awesome program!

My husband and I are both Veterans and are honored and proud to do anything to help our fellow Military members. In fact, half my family is Military and the other half are Police Officers. I am so glad that PBS sees this as a great program and continues to sponsor it. Thank you for allowing us to give back to those who serve!

Was not given the option of donating credits, only money, which I did but "truth in advertising". I don't think so.

My husband is currently deployed. He was able to read each of our 4 children a book and send them the DVD and book. Such a neat program! The kiddos loved seeing their daddy reading them a book on the TV- my two year old's face lit right up as she read her book with daddy!!! Thanks so much for donating to this program to help families like ours during a difficult time when daddy is away!

This is amazing! When my husband was in the Navy, between patrols, we'd video him reading to and playing with our very young son so he'd know his daddy when he came back home. I'm so thrilled to help others do the same!

When I was an officer in the US Navy, I read books to my children via this program. It was wonderful for my children and I, to stay close during long separations at sea. Thank you for supporting this program, PBS members, it means so much to the service members out on their deployments and stationed overseas!
