Having just taken the land tour and cruise of Alaska, I was excited to read this book. I loved how the author infused the characters to make an interesting story while giving true facts about Alaska. While reading about the places I actually visited, it brought back great memories. I really enjoyed this book.

I really did not like this book. Too many short chapters of so many characters. Definitely not worth my time. I just wanted to hurry up and finish it. The ending was just not worth the time.

I enjoyed the book, but I find it different from the mysteries I am used to reading. This book consisted of several short detective stories within the one book. I usually read a mystery where the entire book involves solving it. However, I will give book two a try.

This book was funny and kept my interest. I am now reading her next book, "Lucy Sullivan Is Getting Married", and find that here she also mixes everyday life with humor.
