This was a fast read that was silly and fun. The characters were your average, mildly damaged people who find each other, overcome great danger, win the day, and find true love. The adult content wasn't too explicit, and the descriptions of the Alaskan setting were nice. I'd read another one by this author.

The story was ok, but not exceptional. I was able to figure out half of the mystery in the plot by page 50. The overall story and adventure was ok, if a little disjointed, and could make an interesting serial. It is a quick read. Probably only a 2-3 hour book, depending on interruptions.
Not a bad bit of fun for an afternoons entertainment, but I wouldnt say that it was one of the best stories I read this year.
