Fairly long book that has well developed characters that you love, hate or like right away. Set in early Britian and American (pre 1700's) where descriptions of cities, towns, ships, land and customs appear to be fairly historical. The author is however, a little long winded in my opinion, adding a lot of details or descriptions that I found to be unnecessary (jmo). All in all it is an enjoyable book.

Unfortunately, I was unable to read get into this book. the plot seemed a little off for me. It may be a wonderful love story but I couldn't get past the first 50 pages.

I was hoping that this book had more pratical examples of recycling. It had some but most of the items that were suggested were either not practical for someone without construction expertise or equipment or the recycle items are not readily available.
It is a good book for suggestions.

almost didn't finish this book considering how it started, but once I got through the first 8 pages, it was a very good book with an interesting insight into the slave market in the middle east and northern africa areas in the 1800's.
