What was funny in the first book and sort of funny in the second is formula and boring in the third.

I read this book for my book club - well started to read it and I must say I couldn't stand it. The women are unlikeable and horrible representatives of their religions. Nothing gained. Oh, and the rest of my book club hated it too...for different reasons.

Loved About a Boy, thought I might others by this author. It was interesting. A completely unique story but a little odd.

Disappointing. The story started off setting the stage for which could have been a great psychological/revenge/ghost story. The story builds until what could have been an exciting climax but resolves that quickly and unexplicably and changes the whole story line and central characters - almost as if they didn't know where to go with the original story. The last quarter is just a mess. Do yourself a favor, read to page 193 and then make up a better ending.

I loved this book, so much so, that I emailed the author and told her so. The characters were deep and interesting. Razie, the main character, caught between life and the afterlife is such an interesting voice. If you enjoyed The Time Traveler's Wife, Lovely Bones, Wuthering Heights, The Thirteenth Tale, etc. you will really enjoy this book. Besides the interesting characters there is a deep and romantic love story that transends death. I found the book mysterious and haunting as well. Up there with my favorites. Can't wait for this author to write more!

Loved this book. I don't care if there is some things that aren't exactly true - the story seemed very realistic to me. It was a page turner!

Very "user-friendly" basics on stocks, bonds, savings, etc. It breaks down the most complicated concepts to simple terms.
