This is volume one of a trilogy that explores the story of Centauri Prime and Londo Mollari. The trilogy takes the events of Babylon 5 and brings the action, intrigue, and tragedy to a conclusion. Peter David is an accomplished author and volume one is a page-turner. I highly recommend it. Trust me, after reading this, you will scrambling to locate the next two volumes.

WARNING: There are some extremely graphic and disturbing scenes of torture in this book.
I had to skip over some of these scenes. Otherwise, it was nice to read a story based on one of my favorite shows in book form, rather than on the computer. The book is an easy read. I finished in a few hours.
