I don't read Baldacci's usual genre so I can't compare it to any of those books. It's not on the same level as Wish You Well. Not a bad read but a little too Nicholas Spark's like for me.

I had high hopes for this book but like some of the previous reviewers I felt it lost it. Some parts were just too far out for me - namely the brother. I also have a hard time with no actual dialogue. If you enjoy the magical genre I would suggest Sarah Addison Allen.

I didn't think this book was up to Philippa Gregory's standards. I usually love her books and I just thought this was average. I guess we will see what the rest of the series brings. If you really want a good Philippa Gregory book read the Virgin Earth.

I hade high hopes for this book and couldn't wait to read it but I must say this is one of the worst books I have ever read. I didn't even finish it. I kept hoping it would get better but at page 200 I gave up.
