A wonderful read woven with mystery, family drama, romance and lovely, relatable characters. I especially like the book references and quotes intertwined throughout the story.

This is the second book in the Finger Lakes Mysteries series. Just as with the first book, The Cavanaugh House, Meyette does a wonderful job with the characters and the mystery in this story. However, I still wish there was a little more detail about the ghost, the underlying history of the school, the grounds and the ghost's culture. I really like the growth of the main characters and their relationships in this story. I recommend all three books in this series.

Very interesting read with well developed characters. You won't want to put the book down as you are carried along trying to uncover the connection between the cases and the mysteries associated with each case are solved in surprising ways.

First time reading anything by Elizabeth Meyette. This was an engaging story (although I would have like to have a little more of the storyline center around the past life of the ghost). I believe this story will keep your interest and the supernatural details are interesting without being hokey. Thus far, I am enjoying this Finger Lakes series as I am currently finish the second book, "Buried Secrets" and I am looking forward to the next one!

Great insights into how and why we may perceive our being accepted by God relies on anything and everything else instead of His full acceptance and love for us just as we are. Even in our darkest moments, we are worthy, we are loved and we are enough!

This is a wonderful book revolving around a tragic scenario, but such an uplifting, heartfelt and moving story. A great read!

This is great advice with regard to the food journal and focusing on your physical and emotional responses to eating, but the advice to end the day eating a potato doesn't work for me, my glucose was through the roof each morning (even substituting the sweet potato for the regular potato). I would think this would not work well for other diabetics. : (
