I tend to be a person who focuses on the big picture, strives for results, and has a to do list of a million things. And I get exhausted. Reading "Simply Tuesday" has helped me to slow down, to adjust my perspective, and to learn to live in the small everyday moments. I am reminded that I do not have to conquer the world and shoulder burdens that simply aren't mine to carry. My favorite quote in the book is, "Jesus doesn't call me to feed the 5000; He asks me to give him my few loaves and fishes." Emily's writing is conversational and humorous, with no pretensions or criticism. This is a book I will return to again and again as I continue to embrace the smallness of my life.

I was provided an Advance Reader's Copy, but the opinions expressed in this review are my own.
